Through the proposed project, Trempealeau County will reduce costs or save money. A couple examples include:

• Inmate transfer costs will be significantly reduced from perspective of housing, meals, and staff transfer time

• Low interest rates - the current environment enables county government to borrow money at a compelling interest rate
